Accounting Contests are fast-approaching!

The 2012 Accounting Contests for both Grade 11 and Grade 12 will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Students should log in no later than 1:15 in order to have a full 90 minutes to complete the contest. The registration deadline is Friday, May 11, 2012.

Please consider having your students to participate in the twenty-question “trial run” on Wednesday, May 9, 2012. This is a great opportunity to work through a set of questions that will be similar to the ones the students will see on May 16. Please note that IFRS may appear in the contests as a current issue in accounting; however, HST will replace PST and GST in questions that deal with sales tax.

Register now or contact the contest chair Daniel Lustrinelli at lustrinellid@hdsb.ca if you have questions.
